The Fire Cold Plunge maintains your temperature on a daily basis for months. Regarding the initial cooldown, on average, it takes 12-24 hours to reach the desired temperature, with an average cooling rate of 1-2°F per hour. The cooling rate of your plunge can vary depending on several factors, including the initial water temperature, the desired target temperature, and the water volume. However, this rate may slow down at higher starting temperatures and speed up as the water cools.

The Fire Cold Plunge is more affordable than most brands with similar quality because we take advantage of the economy of scale by manufacturing our own brand of freezer for the tub and cooling system. Then we add the safety systems, sanitation and filtration systems, liner, aesthetics and the rest. This enables us to produce a proven and efficient design for a compressor based cooling system. So we’ve created it from the start using a design that can accomplish the functionality and durability without the high cost.

The Fire Cold Plunge uses a compressor based cooling system which is separated from the circulation system and requires significantly less power and energy consumption than chiller based cooling systems. It circulates coolant which chills from within the walls and only requires one quarter horsepower. It's extremely energy efficient and has very low energy costs, longer lifespan, no plumbing, and way quieter and space efficient and big external chillers. It can cool all the way down to 33 F and maintain coldest temperatures on a daily basis. For the initial cooldown, it cools at 1-2 F per hour and typically takes 12-24 hrs. depending on the starting water temperature, target temperature and water volume.

The lid and walls of the Fire Cold Plunge are 3” thick and 6 inches on the bottom. Our product is designed to provide optimal energy efficiency and temperature regulation. This ensures that your plunge stays cold and maintains consistent temperatures, making it much more energy-efficient than many other options as well as can operate in a much wider temperature range of -20 to 120 f.

The Fire Cold Plunge liner is FDA certified non-toxic material with strong ozone resistance. It is  ergonomic in shape with a sloped back and foot rest, leak-free guaranteed, durable, non-slip.

The Fire Cold Plunge comes with surge protection, ETL or UL certified plugs and cords, grounded components, and a manual power button for convenient ON/OFF functionality. It also comes with a manual reset and self testing GFCI outlet extension so that our product can be plugged into any 110-120 V US household outlet.

Yes, instructions for setting up your new cold plunge are available. Instead of a physical manual, we have included a QR code that you can scan to access the setup guide and instructional videos. The fire cold Plunge only requires a normal 110 V US household outlet. It uses less than 3 amps and does not require a dedicated circuit. We provide you with a GFCI outlet extension as well that can plug into any outlet, including a GFCI protected wall outlet.

No, the Fire Cold Plunge does not need to be unplugged. It comes with a safe and easy ON/OFF button on the control box for your convenience. This is a duplicate safety feature designed to create the safest plunging experience available.

To maintain clean water in your plunge, follow these simple steps:

• Use the plunge skimmer thoroughly after each session to remove debris.
• Change the water about every 1-3 months or as needed.
• Clean filter every 1-2 weeks with hot water and soap.
• Replace filter every 2-3 months or as needed.

To change the filters in the Fire Cold Plunge, simply snap off the 2 filter cartridges from the bottom of the pump, remove the old filter material and replace with new filters. Blue side facing.

The Fire Cold Plunge is drained by using the included siphon pump or the bilge pump found on our accessories site. The Siphon Vacuum attaches to a ¾” garden hose using a threaded fitting for draining over larger distances.

We recommend hydrogen peroxide or alcohol. Soaps may be used but should be thoroughly rinsed or they may leave a filmy residue. If needed, use only a clean towel and warm water.
